Provo Children´s Home

Provo Children´s Home

The mission of PCH is to provide a safe, secure, nurturing and loving home environment for children who are in need of care and protection. The home is a place where they can develop a sense of belonging and begin to repair the hurt and misfortune that has beset them. The home shall provide substitute family care for a child until such time as the family of the child is able to provide adequate care to meet his or her basic needs or arrangements made for his or her custody or other permanent placement. Importance is placed on the duplication of the positive aspects of a typical family environment as well as exposure to extraordinary experiences that enhance their growth and encourage healthy overall development. Academics, religion and discipline are areas of priority, along with instilling good morals and a sense of personal responsibility.

TCReef Fund

TCReef Fund

The Turks and Caicos Reef Fund was established to help preserve and protect the marine environment of the "Beautiful by Nature" Turks and Caicos Islands - an environment that draws so many visitors to these islands and is critical to the survival of the islands themselves. Our goal is to dedicate 85+% of all funds raised through this effort to marine conservation projects each year.

SwimFederation

The Turks & Caicos Islands Swim Federation

The Turks & Caicos Islands Swim Federation is the official governing body for all organized aquatic competition and training in the Turks & Caicos and recognized by FINA, the International Swimming Federation. In that capacity, the Swim Federation seeks to advance the development of swimming on all levels, and, in particular, spearheads the effort to get more residents to learn to swim. It has put together a program a Swim & Survive program as a first step for a broader development of swimming for recreation and competition for all residents. One of the major challenges in the Turks & Caicos is the absence of any proper training pools. Top of the agenda is bring together the resources to make that a reality. Please contact Ben Stubenberg for more information how to help at (649) 431-1007.
